Rationale
Why Context-Aware Research Matters
Health policy across much of the Global South is built on a fragile foundation: research conducted elsewhere, on different populations, facing different epidemiological realities. A meta-analysis from Europe cannot adequately inform malaria policy in Malawi. A cohort study from North America does not capture the nutritional complexities of communities in the Sahel.
Yet this is the current reality. Less than 2% of global health research is produced in Africa. The remaining 98%—however well-intentioned—arrives with embedded assumptions about genetics, environment, health systems, and social determinants that may not hold. The result? Steps:

- Synthesis: Select filters, configurations and click analyze. This also generate a graphical abstract and structured preprint.
- Professional Review: Review report and edit as needed.
- Preprints Archive: Archives the report signed by you. This action also exposes the report for peer review within the MyHealthNote community.
- Publish: Publish in the MyHealthNote Journal, operated by Epistatearch – our research arm dedicated to amplifying locally-relevant evidence.

For clinical studies: Patients explicitly consent before their data is used. Consent forms are stored, and patients can withdraw at any time.
